Two Trevecca Nazarene softball players from Robertson County have been named to the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) 2019 Softball All-Conference team.
Megan Groves of White House, and a graduate of White House Heritage School High School, was named to the first team.
Groves smacked eight home runs and scored 35 runs. The first baseman drove in 37 runs and held a slugging percentage of .597 entering the G-MAC tournament. Groves received the first team all-conference selection for the second time in as many years.
Groves is pursuing a bachelor's degree in education at Trevecca.
Savannah Carr from Springfield, who attended Davidson Academy, received an all-conference second team nod.
The three-time G-MAC Pitcher of the Week won 14 games this season. Carr is holding opposing batters to just a .233 batting average, which ranks second lowest in the conference. Carr owns a 2.67 earned run average entering the tournament and has now been named to the G-MAC All-conference second team for two consecutive seasons.
Carr is pursuing a bachelor's degree in business administration/accounting at Trevecca.
