Welcome back to Main Street Preps’ Fab 15 Midstate boys basketball power rankings.

Here’s a look at how Nashville-area and Midstate teams stack up 1-15, across all classes.

1. Beech (23-0): The Buccaneers rolled to wins over Gallatin and McGavock to stay unbeaten. Senior guard Eli Rice averaged 18.5 points in the two contests.

Next game: Tuesday at Hunters Lane

2. Brentwood Academy (20-0): Can anyone in the Division II-AA Middle Region knock off the Eagles? CPA and MBA took their shots last week, but both lost by double digits.

Last week’s record, ranking: 3-0, No. 2

Next game: Tuesday at Pope Prep

3. Cane Ridge (13-6): Brandon Miller set a pair of school records in a blowout victory against Rockvale, scoring 42 points and nailing 11 3-pointers. The Alabama signee followed that performance with 24 points in another lopsided win at La Vergne.

Next game: Tuesday at Stewarts Creek

4. Ensworth (16-3): The Tigers bounced back from a close loss to Brentwood Academy by beating Lipscomb Academy and Father Ryan last week. Devaki Garr stepped up with 47 combined points in those games.

Next game: Wednesday vs. CPA

5. Columbia (16-2): The Lions used a 19-point fourth quarter to pull away from Summit in their lone contest last week. Q Martin led all scorers with 16 points.

Next game: Wednesday vs. Independence

6. East Nashville (17-2): Senior guard Jarrod Taylor tallied 26 and 23 points in wins over Whites Creek and Stratford, respectively. The high-powered Eagles are scoring 70 points per game and allowing just 52.

Next game: Tuesday at Pearl-Cohn

7. CPA (13-5): Jake Dykstra’s 16 points and four 3-pointers weren’t enough against Brentwood Academy. The Lions are set for a big week as dates with Lipscomb Academy, Ensworth and Father Ryan loom.

Next game: Tuesday vs. Lipscomb Academy

8. Pope Prep (14-6): After a heartbreaking, 73-69 defeat at CPA, the Knights demolished Franklin Road Academy later in the week. Undefeated Brentwood Academy is up next.

Next game: Tuesday vs. Brentwood Academy

9. Lebanon (19-4): Wins against Green Hill, Mt. Juliet and Goodpasture have pushed the Blue Devils back into the top 10. Senior forward Yarin Alexander averaged nearly 20 points for the week.

Next game: Friday vs. Wilson Central

10. Pickett County (16-3): Winter weather has wreaked havoc on the Bobcats’ schedule. Their highly-anticipated matchup with Clay County has been rescheduled again – this time for Friday, Feb. 4.

Next game: Tuesday at York Institute

11. Green Hill (15-3): The Hawks split road contests with District 9-4A and Wilson County rivals Lebanon and Wilson Central last week.

Last week’s record, ranking: 1-1, No. 10

Next game: Tuesday at Mt. Juliet

12. Goodpasture (16-4): The emergence of freshmen King Keary (10.6 ppg) and Jayden Jones (11.3 ppg) has eased the burden of losing Isaiah West for the season.

Last week’s record, ranking: 2-1, No. 11

Next game: Tuesday at Friendship Christian

13. Lipscomb Academy (14-5): A 52-41 win over visiting MBA helped the Mustangs get back on track following losses in three of their previous four outings.

14. Independence (18-4): Take a deep breath while you can, Eagles fans. Independence downed Ravenwood and Franklin by two points apiece last week, but a showdown for first place in District 12-4A is coming this week against Columbia.

Next game: Wednesday at Columbia

15. Ravenwood (14-7): The Raptors recovered from back-to-back, two-point losses to Columbia and Independence by beating Summit on Friday.

Just missed: Clarksville (14-2), Friendship Christian (16-5), Greenbrier (17-1)
