Greenbrier mascot Bobby Bobcat has won another award.
Bobby participated in the Higher Impact Entertainment’s Mascot Training Camp in San Antonio, Tex. on July 17th.
The camp provides instruction from current performers in the NBA, WNBA, NFL, MLB, MiLB, NHL, AHL, MLS, and NCAA.
During his time there, Bobby Bobcat earned the Official Mascot Training Camp Championship Belt. The honor is awarded to the top performer that exhibits excellence in character animation, energetic enthusiasm and positive interactive influence.
“Throughout the entire day, our instructors work with every performer in all areas of mascotting that will assist them in becoming the best performer and good will ambassador for their respected organization,” said Lead Mascot Training Camp Instructor Jerome Bartlett.
“Bobby Bobcat was capturing the hearts of everyone in the camp and in the community during the interactive mascot training workshops.
“We are impressed with the talent and passion this young performer has, and Greenbrier High School is lucky to have such a hard-working entertainer representing their school in the community.”
Bobby was also voted “The People’s Champion” by the other 20 mascots in attendance.
Once again, more and more people were able to see and feel the energy Bobby Bobcat gives Greenbrier at every event.
