Playing three sports and keeping high grades in the classroom isn’t easy, but several Robertson County student-athletes accomplished that feat during the 2019-20 school year.
Fourteen total students from the five county high schools were recognized in the second annual Robertson County Tri-Sport Honor Roll. The three-sport athletes had to maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher to earn the honor.
“We are really proud of how hard these young people work at their sports and their academics,” Robertson County Athletics Director Pat Brown said via email. “This year’s reception was cancelled, but we hope to recognize them at a future Board of Education meeting.”
Greenbrier High School led with six selections. Two recent graduates named to the list, White House Heritage’s Alex Green (Tennessee Wesleyan) and Greenbrier’s Snowden Scott (Vol State), have signed to play at least one sport in college.
