East Robertson defeats Forrest; Greenbrier shut out at Tullahoma

The East Robertson Indians traveled to Region 5-2A champion Forrest Friday night for a late non-region matchup and left with a 21-17 victory.

East Robertson’s Isiah Groves carried the ball 18 times for 146 yards and two touchdowns.

Taylor Groves carried the ball one yard into the end zone for the final score in the fourth quarter.

The Indians move to 4-5 on the season and have a win-and-in game against Whites Creek on Friday, Oct. 30.

Greenbrier faced 4A title contender Tullahoma and fell 34-0.

The Bobcats are now 3-6 overall and will need to defeat Marshall County to have a shot at the postseason. They will also need Lawrence County to lose their final game of the season against Creek Wood.
