The City of Springfield is accepting applications for a Heavy Equipment Operator with Springfield Gas Department from January 27-February 7, 2020. Essential responsibilities include performing skilled construction work and operation of heavy equipment for the installation and maintenance of the gas distribution system. Graduation from a standard high school with three or more years of experience operating heavy equipment, or a combination of education and experience equivalent to the required knowledge and abilities. Experience in utility construction and repair work is preferred.
