The City of Springfield will be closed on Tuesday, December 24 & Wednesday, December 25, 2019 for Christmas. Residents that normally receive garbage cart collection on Tuesday will have their cart collected on Thursday, December 26th.

Carts must be curbside by 5:30 a.m. to avoid missing early morning collection. Due to time the city cannot come back until the next schedule collection day to get garbage cart if cart is not out in time.
