Laurence Earl Farmer, age 89 of White House, TN passed away Monday, April 2, 2018 at his home.

He was born March 30, 1929 in El Centro, CA to George and Violet McAfee Farmer. He worked as a project manager for the Wastewater Treatment Plant and was a pastor of four different churches in Tennessee and Texas. He was of the Pentecostal faith and a member of the Christian Gospel Temple. He was saved in January of 1949 and received the gift of the Holy Spirit in February of 1949. He was a private pilot, owned 5 planes and flew extensively in southern California and was a beekeeper. His favorite passage of scripture was I Corinthians 13, the love chapter. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, George Farmer, Jr.

He is survived by his sons, Laurence Earl “Larry” (Janet) Farmer and Kenneth Farmer, both of White House, TN; daughter, Linda Mears, Antioch, TN; brothers, David (Marcia) Farmer, Yuma, AZ and Rev. Steven (Becky) Farmer, White House, TN; 5 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren. There are no services scheduled at this time.
