Ja’licia “Mae Mae” J. Freeman was born April 23, 1996 to Felicia Freeman and Joe Blakemore. She departed this life on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at her residence.
At an early age, Ja’licia “Mae Mae” was diagnosed with autism, hoever, she lived a very happy and productive life. She was very well known and loved by many. “Mae Mae” will be missed and remembered for her aggressive affection that she displayed on many.
She attended the Academy of Academic Excellence (AAE) School in Clarksville, TN where she was a 2018 graduate.
Ja’licia was preceded in death by her grandmother, Helen Freeman; two grandfathers, Phillip Holmes and J. C. Blakemore; four uncles, Devol Freeman, Virgil Freeman, Warren Blakemore and James Roy Blakemore; brother, Alonzo Farmer, two great grandmothers, Eddie Lee Freeman and Lula Freeman.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories a very loving and devoted mother, Felicia Freeman; a loving, caring, devoted stepfather, Terry Matthews; father, Joe Blakemore; loving devoted brother who helped take care of her, Joevaree Freeman (Andrella) of Clarksville, TN; brother, Majayla Gardner; three sisters, Lekersha Blakemore of Russellville, KY, Kenyta Dowlen, and Camila Blakemore; grandmother, Flossie Blakemore; loving devoted aunt, Linda Dunbar; aunts: Lois Clemmons (George), Christine Herron (Joe), Jeanette Blakemore, of Nashville, TN, Rita Jarrett of Clarksville, TN, Sherry Blakemore; uncles: Calvin Freeman (Tonya), Lee Blakemore of Clarksville, TN, Mike Blakemore (Tab) of Orlinda, TN, Dennis Blakemore of Nashville, TN, and Ralph Blakemore; devoted loving cousins, Emmanuel Mitchell (Victoria) and Verneshia Baker; three great-aunts, Sylvia Vaughn, Ruby Mitchell (Jerry) and Bobbie Baker (Gary); three great uncles, Leonard Freeman and Carl and James Jones; loving and devoted god mother, Deborah Ellis, god sister, Clarissa Suggs (Derrick); god brother, Darius Gardner; three nieces, Ayana, Kiana and Liana; and a host of cousins and friends.
Funeral Service was Friday, July 5, 2019 at Beards Chapel Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Randy Taylor, Eulogy and interment was in Restlawn Memorial Garden.
W. D. Crowder Funeral Home was in charge of arrangement.
