On Dec. 20, at around 10 p.m., the Springfield Police Department was dispatched to a residence on School Street in reference to a domestic assault.
Upon arrival, the officer who made contact with the female victim said she was bleeding from the left side of her face, above her eye.
According to the affidavit, the victim was struggling to remain standing and fell in the driveway while the officer was attempting to speak with her.
The victim was then transported to Northcrest Medical Center for treatment.
While there, she stated to the officer that Marcus Wilson had pushed her into a vehicle, causing her to hit her head on the steering wheel.
The officer observed a laceration on the left side of Ms. Kings’ head as well as swelling. Wilson is charged with domestic assault.
