The Robertson County Farm Bureau sponsors an essay contest each year for seventh graders. This year the winner was Kason Young from East Robertson. Young received a monetary prize as did his teacher, Julie Stroud. The topic of the essay was modern agriculture. Past winners have gone on to compete at the state level.

The Robertson County Farm Bureau is also honored to present an annual award to an outstanding local teacher in recognition of service to support ag in the classroom. This year the winner was Michell Page from White House Heritage High School. A plaque and check were given to Page by local bureau president, Buddy Bryant, and by Women’s chapter president, Paula Carr.
