Dr. Jessica (Ellis) Durham was recently awarded the 2019 Optometrist of the Year by the TN Association of Optometric Physicians.
Durham began her private practice in the Nashville area in 2010 after graduating magna cum laude from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis. In 2014 she acquired Green Hills Eyecare in Nashville. She is the sole owner of this excellent practice and specializes in primary eyecare.
She has performed thousands of medical and vision eye exams for patients of all ages. In 2014 Durham became one of the youngest optometrists to ever be elected to the position of secretary-treasurer of the TN Association of Optometric Physicians (TAOP). She also served a term as TAOP president-elect and was elected TAOP president in 2016. She was the third woman to serve as TAOP President.
Durham is the daughter of Allan and Debby Ellis of Springfield and is married to Jeremy, a small business attorney in Nashville area.
