Bjork and Lars Von Trier

Although the film 'Dancer in the Dark' was critically acclaimed and won a Palme D’Or, Björk found working with Lars Von Trier a nightmare and claimed he had sexually harassed her. Speaking up as part of the #MeToo movement, the singer said: “While filming in Sweden, he threatened to climb from his room´s balcony over to mine in the middle of the night with a clear sexual intention, while his wife was in the room next door.” Bjork described her assailant only as a Danish director, but Von Trier is the only such person she has worked with and the Dane denied the claims.
