Robertson County Sgt. Patrick Traughber was named the 2019 Facility Training Officer of the Year at the Tennessee Corrections Institute (TCI) annual conference last week.
Traughber has served with the Robertson County Sheriff’s Office for seven years and is currently the training coordinator for the Robertson County Detention Facility. In that role, Traughber is responsible for all new corrections officers training and keeping current corrections officers in compliance with Tennessee Corrections Institutes standards annually.
“I am very proud of the recognition that Sgt. Our team here continuingly being recognized across the state is another example of how we strive to provide the best professional law enforcement services to the citizens of Robertson County.”
TCI is responsible for inspecting and certifying local correctional facilities and each year recognizes a facility training officer based on their outstanding work, performance, and dedication.
In the past seven years, the state has awarded the Robertson County Sheriff’s Office Facility Training Officer of the Year three times and Jail Administrator of the Year once.
