Baucom places second in national NFLA competition

White House Heritage High School rising ninth grade student Baylor Baucom recently placed second in national competition at the National Future Business leaders of America Conference in Baltimore, Maryland.

During the four-day event (June 28-July 1), Baucom became the first Robertson County Schools middle level student to compete on the national level and was the only middle school student from the entire state of Tennessee to compete at the national level.

Baucom competed in Middle Level Career Exploration, which is testing comprising all things job, career, and employment-related. Topics for the competition included resumes, interviews, employment skills, and goal writing strategies.

Baylor’s mother, Brandy Baucom, is a business teacher at White House Heritage High School and Baucom’s advisor.
