Robertson County held its annual 9-11 Memorial Ceremony on Monday, Sept. 11 at the county's office building, honoring the nearly 3,000 people killed in the terror attacks that occurred on Sept. 11, 2001.

Robertson County Sheriff Bill Holt and Dr. Steve Freeman spoke in remembrance of the people who died.

The Robertson County Sheriff's Honor Guard presented the flag.

The Springfield Fire Department's fire bell rang out three times, a memorial of the deaths at the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and Flight 93 that crashed in Pennsylvania.
